Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Wash is effective at unblocking pores and killing acne-causing bacteria on your chest and back. Formulated with Acrylates Copolymer and Glycerin, this Benzoyl Peroxide-based wash soaks up excess oils and rehydrates the skin to leave it feeling soft and smooth.

Use in the shower as the first step in your three-step acne-fighting routine.

Benzac AC is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne.

Treat acne affecting your face, back and chest!
Suffering from acne on your back or chest. Benzac has an effective wash off treatment for mild to moderate acne occurring on those larger, harder to reach places on your body.

Acne-causing bacteria growing in blocked pores can trigger irritation and the eruption of the blocked pore into what's often referred to as pimples, spots, blemishes or acne. Reduce the bacteria, reduce spots.

Wash off treatment that is dermatologically tested
Unlike a leave on Gel, Benzac AC Wash is perfect for use in the shower and can be washed off after application.

Simply use in the shower morning and night as part of your acne routine, apply by massaging directly on to your chest and back (but you can also use it on your face): wet the area you want to treat, work into a lather, apply then leave for 30 seconds before washing off and patting dry.

During the first weeks of treatment, a sudden increase in peeling will occur in most people; this will normally subside within a day or two if treatment is temporarily stopped.

When using active ingredients to treat spots and acne, your skin barrier can become more sensitive. It is not recommended to use other skincare products that can have irritating or exfoliant effects at the same time.

Benzoyl Peroxide has exfoliant and pore-unblocking properties, which help to reduce comedones: the technical dermatology name for blocked pores, A.K.A. blackheads and whiteheads.

Benzac AC Treatment products combine the Benzoyl Peroxide active with our Acrylates Copolymer technology, which helps absorb excess oil while delivering glycerine to help keep your skin hydrated.
