General Information
Difflam Plus Anaesthetic + Antibacterial + Anti-Inflammatory Sore Throat Lozenges contain an anaesthetic to relieve pain, and an anti-inflammatory to reduce inflammation, for fast effective relief of symptoms of a sore throat, oral surgery, minor mouth infections and dental procedures.
Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking and see your doctor immediately. Do not exceed the recommended dosage and if symptoms persist or pain is severe, seek medical advice. Due to the anaesthetic effect, do not ingest hot food or drink directly after using the lozenges. This product contains 31g Isomalt per 12 lozenges (recommended maximum daily dose), excess consumption may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Do not use in the last 3 months of pregnancy, if the blister is broken or if past the expiry date. Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional. The clinical efficacy of an anti-bacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
Common Uses
- Difflam Plus Anaesthetic + Antibacterial + Anti-Inflammatory Sore Throat Lozenges for pain, infection and inflammation associated with sore throats.
- Relieve from the symptoms of sore throat, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, mouth ulcers, swelling and inflammatory conditions, pain following mouth or throat surgery, pain following dental procedures
Ingredients
Each lozenge contains: Benzydamine hydrochloride 3mg, Lidocaine hydrochloride 4mg, Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg. Free from Sugar, Lactose, Gluten
Directions
Adults & children aged 6 years & over - 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours as required (max. 12 lozenges per day) Suck one lozenge slowly every 2-3 hours, as required. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not use in children under six years of age, unless recommended by a healthcare professional. Store below 30°C.
