Astaxanthin is an antioxidant carotenoid that gives the distinctive red colour to marine plants and animals such as crustaceans, salmon, sea kelp and microalgae such as Haematococcus pluvialis.
As an antioxidant, it helps to decrease free radicals formed in the body and also reduce free radical damage to body cells.

Astaxanthin supports the health of many body systems. Caruso’s Hawaiian Astaxanthin can support tired, strained eyes and visual fatigue as well as night vision. In addition to eye support, Astaxanthin helps support skin strength and elasticity. It also helps to support cardiovascular and immune health and function.

Directions
For general health and wellbeing: Adults take 1 capsule daily with food or as advised by your health professional.
